[at-l] Hiking/photo link

The ADT runs between Delaware and Point Reyes, California. The route Skurka
is apparently taking is the "northern tier" from Washington to Cape Gaspe,
Quebec. I am still not sure how he plans to get to get 7700 miles between
the 2 points. The ADT is 4900 or 5100 miles depending on whether you take
the northern or southern route between Denver and Cinncinnati. Maybe if he
wanders around a bit trying to connect the misssing pieces ofthe route and
adds on the IAT part he can make it.

re-create it: "Skurka's 7,700 mile trek across the continent...two seas, two
feet." It's been billed as a sea to sea hike. I've refrained from asking
what seems to me to be the obvious question, but no one has touched on it,
so here goes. Has this guy not heard of the American Discovery Trail? Why
doesn't he include parts of that in his hike, or, better yet, go sea to sea
on the ADT. It needs more publicity, use, and maintenance. What's he
trying to do that hasn't already been done?

It's sort of idiot proof." Emiko Fergusson
