I typically wear a microfelt wool fedora hat during the late winter early
months. This keeps my head warm and provides shade without being quite so
uncomfortable as a balaclava. If it is going to be cold enough for a
balaclava, there won't be any exposed skin to sunburn except nose/lips/face
and I usually have sunscreen for that.

Once I knew where I was going, but now I have forgotten. Sometimes my mind
wanders. Sometimes it goes alone, and other times it takes me along...this
isn't one of those times...
