So. Has anyone dealt with the post thru-hike blues in a way that they felt
was constructive? What about the havoc something like a thru-hike wreaks on
your metabolic system? And appetite, for that matter? I ran my first
marathon in October and had a similar letdown and physical breakdown of
sorts after that, and I want to make sure that doesn't happen again.
No post hike blues here, but lots of extra energy.... I used it cleaning my
house
& working in the yard.
Then again, I'm still not working after my hike ended 9/11/03, so what is
there to
be blue about?!?!
Life will be different after your hike, you will be different, priorities
will be different.
Have an interesting hike, and don't worry about after hike stuff. keep you
head IN
the hike and enjoy it.
