[at-l] WAS: REI Garage sale, NOW: Why I'm skeptical of Global Swarming

The Atlanta store had a garage sale earlier this month.  I think each store
has one when there's enough scratch and dent stuff to justify it.  I offered
to rough up the merchandise to help it along, but I was rebuffed.

That being said, I am skeptical of global swarming to all REI locations this
weekend.  My research disproves it and, as a childish, 7 year old name
caller, I now have my fingers in my ears screaming "I can't hear you".  I'm
typing with my nose.  Well, not really, because with *my* nose I'd be
hittin' about four keys a pop.

Hi all,

Next Saturday Jan 31st, all three REI locations in the Boston area are
having their semi-annual Garage Sale of returned or damaged products.

Check with them for details.

The type of stuff they have will appeal more to fixer-upper people
than fussy people. But if you find something you like, there are some
great deals.

(Perhaps others on the list can confirm if their local REI store also has
this sale coming up)
