So, there is work available but we all make our own choices (HYOH). That's
cool! But there are choices.

No joke, you just figured this out? :-O
I could be a stripper too, but people would leave (making their own choices).

My choice is a job that can pay my bills.
So far, I haven't found that, but found lots that won't pay the bills.
($7.50/hour for an armed security guard, $6.00/hour for a book store).

So far, I would take work that barely pays the bills (5 times less than my
previous job),
or if I can find it, a job using my old skills. No luck on that front.
Location is flexible, but
for now, not Chicago. I've tried many headhunters that needed people, just
not people
with my background. There are thousands of jobs for people in IT, but in
other locations,
or with other skill sets. There are hundreds of jobs here in SC, to make up
for the thousands
that left SC. There are also hundreds of people for each job.

But there are jobs....
