Gallons of water? Heck, if I carry the Coleman Campstove I aint carryin the
water too! Now, those views -- we could drive to Mt. Washington or Bear
Mountain. I think the appreciation of the views from the mountaintops that
backpackers get too is due to the fact that we don't have to keep climbing and we can
stop for a rest at the top.
Car Camping is merely moving the base of operations from home to a place
closer to the trail(s). It also allows a bit more comfort.
