How about those trail guides that tell you the shelter is "x" no. of yards
off the trail, and the water is "x" no. of km from the shelter, and the
scenic view is "x" no. of feet from the trail, etc., etc., etc.  I spent a
lot of time while I was walking figuring out conversions.
