### Correct. "Carbs" is not a word, but a marketing neologism.
The closest actual word that would fit is "carbohydrates" -- a
plural noun for which the singular is "carbohydrate" -- a word
describing a TYPE of food calorie. 

But a food calorie is still a calorie, and if you take your
evenly proportioned (1/3; 1/3; 1/3) diet of 2300 calories and
change it to a (1/2; 1/2; 0/2) diet (of ANY sort) of 2300
calories, NOTHING will change in your body weight.

You lose weight by eating less. If eating the propoderance of
your calories in tuna-in-oil does it for you, it doesn't get
away from the fact you reduced your CALORIES.
