So, if counting Carbs is a way to lower overall intake of calories and is a 
unit of measurement that is universal and available then what is your 
consternation about carbs?  Personally, I have a different theory about how the body 
processes fat, etc., but that is not for me to argue on this medium.  All I am 
saying is that carb measurement is uniformly agreed to and is available on 
every consumable product (even beer) and is helpful.

Carbs, carbs, carbs!

Actually what I wanted to say is: Low carbs, low carbs, low carbs!
