Well, folks, that dear old dad of mine is in better spirits than he has been 
in the last month.  He's been so sick that he hasn't been able to have his 
chemo treatments.  He's still trying to decide if he really wants to go through 
it since five months of chemo can buy him only about a year more of life.  He 
was in a lot of pain over the last couple of weeks but never told my Mom and I. 
 We really didn't know what to think as he wasn't eating and was sleeping 
sitting up!  When he went to the doctor yesterday, he complained about not being 
able to sleep because of the pain, and the doctor admonished him for not 
complaining sooner.  They doubled his morphine dose, and slept laying down last 
night for the first time in 10 days.  He also ate for the first time in four 
days.  He seems more optimistic about the chemo therapy now. Anyway, that's the 
update here in South Florida.  

Also, I have pictures of the icky green countertops.  If anyone is 
interested, email me off list and I'll send them to you... You can be the judge.  LOL!  
I was watching Fear Factor with a friend of mine last night.  One of the 
stunts was to drink 100 year old eggnog (talk about icky) and my friend says, 
"Kelly, that sh**ts the color of your countertops.  Amen, sister.  Don't I know it. 


Anyway, hope all is well with everyone, and it feels nice to be back (however 
temporarily) back on the list.
