Yup, Compeed is designed for the task, but the stuff
is usually pre-cut for special foot applications. I
like the general wound covers, for instance to close a
gashed hand after falling on rain slickened, glacier
polished bolders along the NJ/NY border.

I've found Compeed fairly cheaply priced at Big Lots.
