[at-l] gooch gap shelter is no more...

alas, GOOCH GAP SHELTER is no more.  this old, small shelter was razed
last week.  the southernmost entrance (stairway) to the shelter has
been obliterated, and the entrance near FS42 will be obliterated soon. 
yesterday, barb and i ran into an explorer scout doing work for a merit
badge, who was cleaning up the years of castoffs from around the old
shelter.  he was talking about the multitude of spent batteries that
littered the old site.  there was much more debris - bags and bags of
debris...

Do not confuse this razed shelter with the newer GOOCH MOUNTAIN
SHELTER, which is situated about 1.5 miles south.  speaking of this
newer shelter, anyone 5'8" or less will have a wonderful time.  all
others will need first aid kits :>)
