Be sure and get a second opinion before you panic.  Doctors can make
mistakes, you know.  And, like Amy said, there are worst fates.  My husband
is a musician, plays the guitar, and has had arthritis in his fingers for
years.  They only bother him when it is cold.  Be sure and bring lots of
warm, dry socks and maybe even some of those foot warmers.

When there is a will.... there is a way!
