One of my few decadent backpacking items is a titanium spork. It's made by
Snowpeak and costs about $10.

Is it overkill to be made of titanium? Maybe. Is $10 a ridiculous price for
something easy to lose? Probably.

But it's nearly as lightweight as a Lexan spoon and a lot more versatile.
Plus, it doesn't melt or break when you're trying to scrape food sticking to
the bottom of a very hot pot.

I love my spork!
