Reference your post, dated 11-8-03, subject heading, “RE: [at-l] hiking 
poles.”

You single out an AT-L poster, and consider that his post regarding U.S. 
security measures, “... shows an extreme amount of immaturity.”

You advise, “The question that should be asked is, ‘Are we any safer now 
than before 9-11?’  The answer is no.  I find this extremely unfortunate 
because security is one of the things I do...”

I agree we’re no safer now than before “9-11.”  But this is primarily 
because the U.S. has been miserably naive and too self-centered for many 
years prior to “9-11.”  This course, which we’ve taken as a country, “... 
shows an extreme amount of immaturity.”

And, “I find this extremely unfortunate (regardless) of the things I do...”
