I got in a discussion about tunes stuck in your head with a building
contractor while hiking on the JMT.

He said one of his projects was a cabin up in the hills, and power hadn't
been run up there before the construction started. They camped at the site,
being so far from town, but didn't have a radio. After a couple of days of
music deprivation he asked one of the guys working for him if he ever got
tunes stuck in his head. "Of course!". He looked him right in the eye and
said "Waltzing Matilda".... and three more days before they made it back to
civilization... <g>
