[at-l] Solitude and safety, NOBO vs. SOBO? (was: young,Female SOBO)

I see what you're saying, Weary, but that's a little different from where I
was going; I was talking more about introvert/extrovert issues (the
psychological definition of those terms). I plan to stealth camp in a
hammock. The end of the day seems to be the time I need the most "down"
time alone, and I'm allergic to mice, anyway. Kids at campsites might be
loud, but they generally don't try to befriend me, lol.

The AT isn't the "trail of my dreams," it just is what it is, and I won't
really have an idea of what that is until I've hiked 2,168 or so miles of
it. All I know at this point is me, and how I need to hike, that's why I
was asking about which direction is more conducive to what I need.
