Changing to Trail Related (was) experts, education, intelligence > RE: Re[2]: [at-l] INTJ & What we have in common

See SPEAKING OF WHICH to trail relate it....

AT out 2 year school we have a longer waiting list for our nursing program
than the state university (USC) has for their program. Also, our grads get
more jobs and get them quicker than USC's grads. Our health programs tend
to emphasize practicality. Their programs tend to emphasize theory.

Or, like some engineers like to say "Scientist tell us why we can't do
something. So we look at it. Then do it. And then the sceintists tell us
why we could it."

Or there was a famous anthropologist who started to get his degree at Oxford
in the Greek language. He was told that he did not speak Greek properly and
his "translations" were incorrect. So he turned to anthropology. Later he
found the Oxford "dons" spoke only classical Greek -- which had not been
spoken in hundreds of years. The anthropologist spoke modern Greek like a
Greek seaman. Ahh, the conceit of education.

Or, as I read in a horror story last night, the scholar who was sent to Hell
and gave the Devil fits because the scholar did not believe in Hell. "It is
not logical."

SPEAKING OF WHICH: What one thing about LD hiking and about the AT have you
found the "experts" to be wrong (partially or wholly).

Ain't that the truth!
