[at-l] Hunting season dates

Most states (probably all) have one or more pages that will link you to
their "hunting/fishling" regulations. Exact web-addresses are a bit
unstable with government agencies -- there is one agency that seems to
change its name and who it is under at least once a year. Just type in
[state's name -- whole and not intials] plus "government". Then pick the
most appropriate looking site.

Also, dates will not necessarily stay the same year to year. Sometimes they
will "grow" and sometimes they will "shrink". Plus areas may be added or
deleted. It all depends on the wildlife population, local and hunters
pressure, and attitude of state and federal officials.

Don't count on people following the rules. Good hunters will, but there are
a lot of hunters out there who do not pay attention to the rules.

Plus, if they have a "youth" period or "first-time" hunter's period, take
extra care: First time hunters -- even the good ones -- tend to be extra
nervous and exciteable.

Probably one of the best things to do is ask locals about the seasons.
