Be very careful of the cheap sleeping bags, especially the
synthetic filled bags. The syntheitic material may not be
evenly distributed throught out the bag and one may have cold
spots. The filling may not be properly secured so cold spots
will may develope. The outer shell may not be the best
quality and my major complaint is the cheap zippers used in
the bags. THese have a tendency to jam at 1 am when one has
to get out of the bag NOW to pee. Check Campmor
(www.campmor.com) for good quality reasonably priced sleeping
bags. Last year my local EMS had down bags for sale at $99.
Year end sales are always wonderful. My wife picked up a
Dana Design bag for $75 (List $200). They changed the model
so she got it cheap and really enjoys the bag.

sale for $40.

bags I'd been
