I know it's been a while since Turtle posted this.  But I thought I'd mention 
that "Bubbie" is actually Yiddish for "grandma."  To this day, I couldn't 
tell you my great-grandmother's name.  She was just known as "Bubbie" (the "u" is 
pronounced as in "put" and the "ie" is like the "y" in "daddy.").
