Oh, Ginny! That was so touching. I feel the same way about Kenny (the Boy
deserves a name on this one) Unfortunately, he does not hike, and therefore I
hike alone. I'm used to being without him on my hikes, and even at home.
However, I want to do a Thru-hike, and I know I'm going to miss him tremendously.
He's going to be my "support base" and meet up with me when he can get away,
but still, we're going to go weeks, even months without seeing one another.
I think that is going to be the hardest part of my hike.
