[at-l] More on the Danielle Rickman story

I am trying to get out of the Navarre Press loop or rather some source
outside of Florida. I have even tried databases that are closed except
through a library. So far I have confirmed that the AP has it, but it does
not appear that it was written by an AP reporter: AP has used more and more
stringers and associates as the years have gone by. The story seems to only
track to a Wendy Victora (a reporter for a fair sized news organization in
NW Florida -- around Naples I think). So far, in the article below", this
is the first I have heard of a Dawn Murray. The following appears to be a
letter to the editor at Navarre.

"While surfing the web about Search and Rescue articles I came across an
article about Danielle Rickman. You see I am the President of Graham County
Sheriff's Search and Rescue Squad, and I was on that search. So many times
we read articles about our searches and rescues, and the authors have not
bothered to get the facts. I would like to commend and thank Dawn Murray for
doing her research and writing the facts. It was a wonderful article, and it
is being added to the squads scrapbook. It is nice to see that Danielle's
friends care so much and would do such a positive thing. It truly is awesome
to see kids thinking of others in need, and helping anyway that they can. As
the article said, "Hats off to the kids". Our thoughts and prayers are with
you, Danielle, and family as you continue to recover.
