[at-l] Another Dust Pan Story

Because I have a septic tank, I am very careful what I put down the garbage disposal, usually peeling things into the sink and tranferring the peelings to the trash. One day I somehow managed to throw out the strainer/stopper along with the peelings. Before I could get to Home Depot, my hiking significant other at the time took an exploratory day hike and brought me a strainer/stopper he found in one of the very few FT shelters. It fit my sink. Why would someone have carried a strainer/stopper to a shelter????? I would have to call this karma.

Sounds to me like your hiking SO actually lost your strainer and got a
new one before you knew...he scuffed it up a bit...and, came up with
some elaborate, albeit believable, tale of how he found it at a
shelter...that may or may not exist...
