[at-l] Summer Hiking in Florida

Shane has a point. Acclimation is the key. However, it *is* hard to get
away from A/C!

I didn't have an air conditioner until I was in college. My parents home
nor my Pinto had A/C. I also used to run 4 miles a day - every day - at 6PM
during the summer. That was so I wouldn't die when football practice
started in August. The coaches believed that old saying "What doesn't kill
you only makes you stronger!" :-)

I wouldn't hike in Florida in the summer though unless I had a no-see-um
body suit! Same for Louisiana!

...or would that be body *armor*???

Who SHALL we pick a fight with, then? ;)

Agreed. You could hang meat in my office... My wife thinks I'm insane for
even suggesting that we turn the AC down, much less off...

> P.S. is "ergo" as good as "albeit"?

Indubitably.
