As for the vending machines, the magazine brought that statistic into the
equation...but a large, fully loaded soda machine can weigh nearly 2 TONS,
according to a friend o' mine. (3700#)

That's why, for legal reasons, you may see warnings on some vending machines
about how DEATH may result from tipping them...

Hmm, don't want to be undiscerning or, heaven forbid, obtuse, but
exactly what thoughts are we supposed to think about this?  I would
conclude that we clearly need to do away with vending machines (at least
the toppling kind!).  But I may be missing a sub-tile nuance!
