[at-l] OT: Test; test

No plot involved. :) The machine just couldn't decide on it's own whether or
not to let your posts go thru until a flesh and blood person told it too :)

I've noticed several people have resubscribed lately with new addresses, and
we've had at least one or two new subscriptions a day. Then several posts will
back up in the queue because the person thinks that they are actually
subscribed already. Please bear in mind that all requests to subscribe have to
be manually approved, and until that happens, none of your posts will go thru -
they sit in the queue until you are approved, and then they individually have
to be approved to go to the list, because you are set on moderate until the
machine is told you are actually now a member. We try to do this several times
a day, so there may be no lag at all, or several hours lag, before you get a
confirmation email and are officially a member.

Also, you should be getting an automatic email from mailman with your
subscription information, including password, for all backcountry.net accounts,
on a monthly basis. You might want to save the next one, and then change your
password to something you can remember. That way you can set yourself to nomail
when needed, unsubscribe if you so desire, or change how you get your posts
(i.e. individual emails or digest form).

You are now, as you see, subscribed under the .edu address :)

Now how do I convince the list machine that
