[at-l] Hiker Deaths

That was actually the second AT heat related death this month.  Evidently 
someone died on Katahdin and they closed the mountain for a couple of days.

Someone also died this week on the CDT - a young man who was section hiking 
the trail.  Media speculation was that it was altitude related.  On the PCT 
a thruhiker committed suicide.

It is a hard year to be hiking, between the weather, hiker on hiker violence 
and the various deaths.  Something happening in the stars?  Still, I'd 
rather be there than here.
