Unless you enjoy being in the dark, ALWAYS carry at least two sources of
light. Long time listers will remember my story about going ultra-light on a
winter mountaineering trip when I only brought my headlamp and a change of
batteries. BOTH sets of brand new batteries died...

The OTHER moral of this story is carry Lithium batteries.
