1) Go to your local produce / fruit stand vendor and
score some culled peaches for pennies. Take them home,
peel, slice away the bruises and nasties, and fire up
the dehydrator. Now is the time as peaches in GA and
SC hit the market.

2) Go to the GATC website and read up on their
response for the NFS proposed management plan. Decide
whether you like the idea of Kelly Ridge area becoming
an ATV area (Dick's Creek Gap and north) rather than
the Wilderness area previously promised. Decide
whether you would like to write about your concerns,
or whether you want to wait until Nov,'04 to express
your dissappointment. 

Peaches and real world politics wait for no man.
