I guess it is about time to post the book list again as there are
probably a couple of listers that are getting itchy to read something
about the trail.  Here is what is in my library:

- "Ten Million Steps" - Nimblewill Nomad (Eberhart) - he also has a
small booklet of "ditty's" that is pretty good.

- "The Appalachian Trail - calling me back to the Hills" - Earl Shaffer

- "The Appalachian Trail" and "Mountain Adventure" - National Geographic

- "Walking the Appalachian Trail" - Luxenberg
- "Our Southern Highlanders" - Kephart   <--- a classic (1917), kinda
tough to wade through but very informative...
