[at-l] Can money buy happiness article

Ya. But it would be nice scientific experiment to win, just to determine whether
one is in the two-thirds or one-third bracket. I'm not interested in a cruise,
but I would like to put a solar-powered motor on my 20 foot canoe. I expect a
solar panel, batteries and motor would cost five or six hundred dollars. I may
anyway. Yesterday we closed on the sale of my final woodlot (I gave the other
one to the land trust).

My wife cried when she signed the papers, but the buyer promised to be a "good
steward of the land." The proceeds paid off the mortgage on a house I built six
years ago, and all my credit cards. I have almost enough left over to pay for
the car that replaces my broken-down van.
