When I stopped by RPH Cabin the register was filled, not with complaints
about the weather but about wet boots and wet feet. It sounded like their
feet were just plain falling apart, and of course neither moleskin or
band-aids will survive a day in soaked boots. There was at least one note
about someone heading home, but not being familiar with trail names it
could have been a hiker sending his dog home.
You'll be able to tell this years hikers by their webbed toes <g>
