[at-l] Tom Thwaites

I had the pleasure of meeting Tom many years agoe.  Most 
members of this list know little if anything about him, but 
if it was not for Tom the Mid State Trail would not exist.  
PA has over 4,000 miles of trails and Tom has had a hand in 
maintaining, planning, or hiking many of these trails.  While 
playing an important role in the KTA he is a modest person 
about his achievements.  He also has a wicked sense of 
humor.  We need more people like him.
