In 1972 there was an elderly gentleman who paddled me across for $5;
Charlie Ferry was hiking with us, so somewhere here I've a pic of Ferry
in a boat paddled by John the Ferryman, whose one statement was "Hold
still; don't stand up" Ah, yep.
