[at-l] Here Goes.

Kelly,

Reference your posts and the posts of your e-friends, under this and other
threads.

Your first post seemed to me a whine about Florida summer weather; I stopped
opening them. My loss. Somewhere between there and here you’ve made
yourself vulnerable, revealing a struggle you’re experiencing with your
life.

I would have posted sooner, but I didn’t know. I wrote you a lengthy essay
about my life, experiences, and philosophies (why and how I changed them),
providing you the knowledge you’re not completely alone “out there,” but
then my life and experiences are not yours. (My effort just trivialized
what you are going through, anyway, so I deleted it.)

The recent posts are great. The problem we, your e-friends, have is, your
life is in fact your very own. You have to find your own way. Regardless
what decisions you make, some of us would have decided differently. The
good news is, you’re living an examined life. More bad news; the examined
life is occasionally painful. I’m convinced most people don’t live such
lives; at some level, they never really live. They never experience your
pain. They also never know your joy.

All the best. If you ever wish to chat, don’t hesitate, not for a moment.

Steve
