To many variables for a straight answer.  I don't add anything to my
"normal" pocket contents to walk the dog morning and evening, or on the
ocations I can let him run on the nearby farm.  (But then my pockets/belt
resemble a tool kit. :-)  Depending on the time of day a walk on the
pipeline or into the State Forest won't call for anything extra either.

"Normal" "pocket" contents include Leatherman Wave, Watch with compass, Bic
lighter, CPR shield and gloves, Palm Organizer, and Fire Dept. pager.  I
also keep a small compass, whistle and Princeton Tec Pulsar LED flashlight
on a cord around my neck during my waking hours.
