[at-l] Baby carrier advice

Hi everyone,

As impossible as it is for me to believe, almost 3 months have passed since the birth of my beautiful daughter and I will be returning to work soon.  However, since the weather up here (Mass) is finally cooperating, we will also begin to hit the trails in the next few weeks.  

I was wondering if anyone has and advise cabout specific baby/child carriers for backpacking.  I have read Cindy Ross' book and a few other resources, but wanted specific input from personal use.  

Just as fyi, at first it will be just small day hikes, building up to longer day hikes and eventually overnights.  Most of the time it will just be Willow and I, because Kamp will be working at his company.  So I will need to be able to carry her, and minimal gear at first, then building up to more (but our overnights will be to established facilities until she can walk because I just can't carry her and a tent plus all necessary gear - at least not in my mind).
