[at-l] Black Fly Report & Question

As I responded to Vic this morning, the blackflies are out and biting around
Monadnock. Further N near N. Woodstock, NH the non-biting flies mass around
your face especially if you're not moving. Where I was on the AT there were
no bugs at all, a nice tradeoff for the cooler weather at altitude...

I expect the Berkshires will be S enough and low enough to have blackflies
in full force, but perhaps others can give a more local report. Now where is
my headnet? --RockDancer
