just wondering on the opinions of these thermarest thingies..
i've never used one. only ever used plain old foam mats or direct ground

i'm curious about the whole thing. whats the puncture rate like? how tough
are they? they have foam inside, so what does the 'inflate' do?

are they really a big difference sleeping on one opposed to a foam mat?

its always been a bit of gear i could never justify but have been curious about :)

but now with londons main underground being down for 2 months I get
a nice 200-300quid cheque off them...

me. a gear store.. 200 odd quid... recipie for disaster...
