The no see-um-s don't really bite, they regurgitate the liquid frim their s=
tomachs, this is an acid (like muratic acid) which liquifies your skin,they=
 then lick the disolved skin up. This is why  the "bite" burns and itches. =
Plain dryer sheets rubbed on oyur skin does seem to help. Also taking doses=
 of sulphur helps too..
