      (    ) induced the generation of 95% of the letters that fought for
protecting a beautiful Trail spot. What is even sadder is seeing people who
use his problems to fight for keeping it at 5%. Shame people would argue
trivial tactics while being willing to forego that 95%. This is symptomatic
of those who insist on separating hiking from the AT's cause. Those who don't
like being constantly reminded are really those who wouldn't mind if it were
never mentioned at all...
