I pretty much agree. When someone tells me they are hiking for charity, I think,
but being a friendly soul, don't say, that the charity might be better off if
they just worked extra hours and donated the money to the charity.

I figure if I'm going to be giving them money for their favorite projects, they
ought to do more than just have a fun time in the woods and mountains.
