Spark,

Thank you for your response, 4-20-03, advising, =93These (LARGE zip lock) b=
ags
are quite a bit heavier than your normal ziplock bags and they come with
built in handles.

I bought Ziploc Brand bags at a Super Walmart, which may be the same. They
include the terms =93Heavy Duty=94 and =93Big Bags=94.

Four Extra Large Bags, dimensions 24" x 21 3/8" (60.96 cm x 54.29 cm), which
each hold 12 Gallons (45.4 L) are sold in one package. I don=92t have the
price. Each bag, on my scale, weighs 3.0 oz.

Three Extra Extra Large Bags, dimensions 24" x 33 5/8" (60.96 cm x 85.41
cm), which each hold 20 Gallons (75.7 L) come in a package, for $6.74. Each
bag weighs 4.3 oz.

Both bags are rated by Ziploc to, =93Hold up to 30 lbs.=94

Boxes of Trash Bags and Trash Compactor Bags often list the bag=92s mil
thickness; the larger the number, the thicker the bag. Trash Compactor Bags
are typically thicker than Trash Bags. I didn=92t find any mention of the =
mil
thickness(es) for the Ziploc=92s I bought, above.

The closure on these bags seems more resistant to opening than the closure
on the smaller Ziplocs.

Rumor has it that Felix uses the Extra Large Bags to minimize the risk of
STD.

Steve
