[at-l] White Gas availability

From: Slyatpct@aol.com
Don't forget you can also use unleaded in a pinch.

### I wonder about the "in a pinch" part. I never used anything
but low-octane gas (leaded or unleaded) in my Optimus 8R and had
nothing but reliable service in four seasons for years before I
did the AT (with the smaller-cased Svea 123R, which likewise
gave perfect service for 2100 miles [and then many more, decades
{cough-cough} later]).

Are the MSRs so completely phickle that "white gas" versus
JoeBlow's Low Octane is such a big difference? It has always
sounded to me like MSRs were phickle no matter what, why not
just go with low octane and be done with it?

Just make sure you stay away from high octane: that long/cool
burn in your engine SUCKS as stove fuel.
