[at-l] Shuttling to Harpers

Hey PB,

Just thought I would let you know of my current plans to do a similar hike
in PA.  I'll be going from HF to Delaware Water Gap. My section hiking
preference to to walk to my truck.  It gives more freedom than trying to get
a connection at the end.   In order to do that, either I needed to find a
shuttle from DWG or Bus to NYC from DWG and Amtrak from there to HF.

I contacted the shuttle providers listed by ATC and got several offers.
They all were responsive and helpful.  I wasn't too thrilled with the cost
of $1/mile since my trip is around 230 miles one way.  So, for me it came
down to a day of traveling to get from DWG via public transport or a quicker
2.5 hour shuttle and the cost of each.  I also live 6 hours away and would
have had to get a butt-crack-of-dawn bus from E Stroudsburg to get to NYC to
get to DC to get to HF.  It all seemed too complex and if one piece delayed,
I would be stuck in DC for a day.  But with you being in NYC, the train
makes a lot more sense but what do you do when you reach Duncannon?.

It all became much simpler when a friend offered to take me to HF.  This, by
the way, is eight days from now.  Spring hiking fever is burning deep and
strong.
