Re[4]: [at-l] Snow-Fitness

I think that people start throwing around "pointless" when the trail goes
up-down-up-down... on a very artifical path when it could just as easily
have been built to follow a contour. I've never thought of it as a serious
complaint though - just somebody poking fun at the trail.

As for stretching, my sprint coach at Auburn made us jog a lap or two
*before* we stretched - and the only reason we stretched was to improve our
flexibility. The more flexible we were, the less injury-prone we were. We
also believed that stretching gave our muscles more room to grow but that
just was our theory. We also stretched because it felt really good!
