[at-l] how long does jelly last?

I've never had jelly last more that a week (or two, max), on the trail.

Now at home it takes a month, or more, to eat a full jar.

My personal rule is that if there is no green stuff growing on it, it is
still good. If there is green stuff, scrape off, eat the jelly. That has
happened at home. As always, YMMV.

any ideas how long jelly will last once the jar has been opened without
refrigeration? I can't imagine my pb+j without the j!
