If you need a internal frame or a external a G-4 (I think) can be modified
to hold onto either frame. I've made one so far with out a frame and think
a internal can be done with the proper double lining for the back side and
insertion of a internal framework. An extermnal one would be somewhat more
complicated but I think that is doeable too so you would end up with a pack
that quite possibly could be called a convertable model.
