[at-l] Pepsi can stove question

I would like some advice on building a Pepsi can stove to replace my
homemade Esbit stove. I found Scott Henderson's Pepsi-G stove
instructions on the PCT Hiker website, and he uses epoxy (J-B Weld) to
hold all the parts together.

I am wondering if anyone uses the 3M High-Temperature tape to hold the
stove together, and if there would be any hidden problems if I did so.
It would sure speed things up, but if the stuff isn't durable, or if it
explodes on contact with alcohol, or whatever, I need to know that in
advance. Thanks.

BTW, the Pepsi-G stove requires an empty Guinness Draft can for the
bottom section. If you want to make several stoves, you need to empty
several cans of Guinness. This is a sacrifice that I am willing to make
for a lighter pack weight.
